I know and love strong, smart, highly-driven women. I was raised by them. I surround myself with them. We are brilliant and strong and resilient – and if we aren’t careful, achievement, perfectionism and productivity will hold us back from our true potential and power. In this, we can lose our sense of self, our connection to our intuition, to our heart, to our deeper desires for life.

When I was in my twenties, my well-oiled masculine approach to life was leaving me depleted and feeling as if I was never doing it ‘right’. It kept me running on the busy treadmill. And as a release I over-ate, over-drank, over-shopped, spent way too much time in my head and felt disconnected from my body.

In 2010, I did a visualisation where I ‘met’ my Electric Woman. I had a vision of a woman who emitted peace and power, she ran a successful business and had a full, happy and conscious life that she designed, true to her values. 

My Electric Woman is my most powerful self, radiant with ‘Soft Power’. Soft in that she is guided by a deep, feminine wisdom and intuition that melts the hard edges of my conditioning, fear and resentment. Powerful in that she courageously explores – and acts on –  her deepest desires. My Electric Woman is bold and does what feels right in the moment. She is both who I am and my north star to guide me to make the right choices and help me gain the clarity I need. 

It is my greatest honour to support women to ‘meet’ their own Electric Woman, to help them design their lives and businesses with her at the centre and access their Soft Power. 

In my journey to become my Electric Woman, I explored countless ways to shake off societal conditioning around my body and sexuality. In the process I became passionate about how aligning with a true positive regard for our bodies and our pleasure, reorients women in every single facet of our lives. Not all my 1-1 coaching draws on this work, but it is my great privilege to run retreats for women willing to go deep and reclaim their sexual sovereignty.   

This work is about each and every woman I help, and it’s also about changing our world. 

We live in an urgent moment of history, a moment in need of our most true and powerful selves. And yet so many of us are trapped, majoring in minor things, criticising ourselves and playing small. We know we have more to offer and we need to get out of our own way, create community and use our gifts in service of what’s needed.    

I believe every woman has an Electric Woman within her.
